TYB Begins a New and Exciting Chapter

TweakYourBiz (TYB) has served entrepreneurs, startups, small business owners and corporate leaders for more than a decade. This is a treasured community where people with a diverse set of backgrounds can share their unique experiences. When we take time to listen to each other, we gain fresh perspectives and unique solutions to the challenges business owners face.

Unveiling TweakYourBiz 2.0

A little less than a month ago TYB changed ownership. You can learn more about the new team here. Everyone here at TYB cherishes what this community represents, and takes their obligation to serve this community seriously.

You may have noticed that things got a little quiet around here. We’ve been busy behind the scenes launching what we’ve come to call TYB 2.0. We hope you love the new look as much as we do. But the changes are more than skin-deep. We’ve developed an automated content submission wizard that empowers more people to participate.

Expedited Content Submission Options

We are bringing TYB up to 2018 web design standards. That means faster load times, easier navigation and more accessible posting options. Anyone can submit an article to TYB. We do not charge publication fees, but we are introducing an option to purchase a package that places your content at the front of the queue for review and publication by our team.

Based on current submission levels, we are looking at a content backlog of more than three weeks. We are working hard to go through all of your submissions and get them live. You have the option of jumping the line by leveraging our TYB Post Submission Form and selecting “expedited” or “rush” review. The fees associated with these options help us fund the small army required to expedite content review and approval.

A little about me.

I’d like to take this opportunity to also introduce myself. My name is James Lang. I have worked as a freelance writer and ghostwriter for more than six years. I started on UpWork in 2012. Back then, I have to admit that this was a very strange and new world to me. Eventually, I outgrew UpWork and started taking on larger contracts from agencies and businesses that needed solid content to help them standout in a crowded digital world.

I’ve written on everything from garage door openers to international finance. Such is the life of a freelance writer in today’s gig economy. My ghostwritten content is regularly published on sites like Forbes and Entrepreneur. I’m bringing all of that experience with me into my new role as Editor in Chief for TweakYourBiz. I’m excited to see what this challenge turns into. I know that all of you reading this have amazing stories to share, and creative solutions to the challenges we all face on a daily basis.

I look forward to reading your content and helping you find ways to make it fit within our TYB content guidelines. If I can be of any assistance to you, don’t hesitate to send me a message.
