This sort of a business redefines the traditional philosophy that revolves around businessmen of how they never mix their professional endeavors with personal pleasure points.

A Lifestyle Business has these features:

  • The business owner is usually the only employee of the business, responsible for performing jobs pertaining to it. In case of more than one business owner, they are the employees of the business.
  • The business owner already earns a respectable living with a considerable income.

  • Thanks for explaining this Nash. With the value of Social Media to a business these days it certainly should be considered for corporate worth. Maybe it could be included as Goodwill on the balance sheet? I look forward to your next post for us

  • Hi Nash, thanks for sharing your insight on this. Yes, it is correct that every company should consider social media as ways to be visible and customer engagement as well. However, I don’t think that it really does have a big impact in terms of corporate worth. We are talking about big businesses here and they have already made names in the corporate world without the social media first.
