What a response! The “HP Sugartone: Making Your Business Amazing” sweet blogging contest was another great success. With dozens of articles and hundreds of votes and comment. We are delighted that Sugartone continues to be a unique business networking event, giving professionals the opportunity to network across both the Bloggertone and BizSugar communities.

A Very Big “Thank You” To All Of You!

Thank you to all the participants who submitted articles and to everyone that commented and voted. The quality of the entries, comments and resulting conversation were of the highest standard.

The Format

In an effort to improve the competition we made some changes to the format. This time, the winning article was the one that secured the most votes (sugars). This made for an exciting (and tense) last few days, with positions changing and the competition going right down to the wire!

The Winners

Here we announce the winners with great pleasure! Incredibly two articles remained neck and neck for the last twenty four hours of the competition. Creating a Successful Conference Call by Frank Bradley had led right the way through only to be joined by Grey Fry’s How Can I Look “Amazing” on LinkedIn?

Both articles broke the record for the highest number of votes ever on BizSugar and after consultation with the two authors, it was decided that the only thing to do was to award both as winners.

The winner of the most engaging comment as decided by our judges went to Beyond Breast Cancer (We need to establish your name) for her comment on Lorna Sixsmith’s post, How to build PR for your business – effectively and on a budget

The EBook

Over the next few weeks, we will be creating an EBook based on the submissions which will be available to download across the sites.
